OtterBox Core

A lot of choice from ‘real’ MagSafe cases still aren't here. Some manufacturers use their own magnets or make the covers so thin that the magnetic effect goes right through them. But if you're looking for cases with the original MagSafe magnets, you'll soon come to Apple and a handful of third-party providers. OtterBox is one of them. Earlier you could read a review of the OtterBox Figura on iCulture, colorful cases for the iPhone 12 series. OtterBox now also has something new for the iPhone 13 series. The colors are less bright, but the effect appeals to us.

These are the environmentally friendly OtterBox Core cases, which are made of 50% recycled material. You can buy them from OtterBox itself and in the Apple Store:

  • OtterBox Core for iPhone 13 series: €49.95 from Apple

Give speckles extra grip

The covers cost €49.95 each and are available in black and white, i.e. Carnival Night and Funfetti. The latter is reminiscent of the funfetti cakes, which are covered on the outside with sprinkles in different colors. The silicone material has been crushed, so that you get small specks that also give some extra grip. In combination with synthetic rubber, you get a thin case that fits well. The internal magnets match the outside of the cover in color. A raised edge prevents your screen from getting damaged and you get the same drop protection as with the other OtterBox covers.

OtterBox has now used more than 600,000 kg of plastic for new products. Looking for other 13 series iPhone cases? Then take a look at these round-ups:
