Domestic. The Sweden Democrats 'party leader Jimmie Åkesson wants to change the rules so that individual LO members can refrain from participating in and paying for the Social Democrats' election campaigns.

LO's chairman Susanna Gideonsson announced on Wednesday that LO is making its “absolute biggest investment ever” on the Social Democrats ahead of the parliamentary elections this autumn.
SEK 30 million will be spent directly on the election campaign and another tens of millions go to closely related projects. Among other things, LO will call around to its members and persuade them to vote for S. They will also hold “trainings” across the country where participants can learn to vote correctly.

LO chairman Susanna Gideonsson, however, thinks that SD's proposal is “ridiculous”.
