An Iranian suffered from severe pain from his penis in connection with a covid-19 infection and then sought treatment.

It turned out that a blood clot formed in the penis shaft that gave rise to to pain and an involuntary erection.

– Between 20 and 50 percent of patients with covid-19 show abnormal levels of coagulation during tests, says doctor Morteza Bagheri.

To reduce blood clotting, the disease is now treated with blood-thinning drugs, writes the New York Post. However, the condition is uncommon and mainly affects patients who already have another blood clot.
