The Urban Air Mobility (UAM) sector is in full swing. More and more companies are turning their attention in this direction with the aim of realizing eVTOL, that is; electric aircraft with vertical take-off and landing to be used for short-haul flights as an alternative to classic forms of mobility, especially in large cities; where the traffic & egrave; now congested. Italy too is working on the development of Urban Air Mobility. For example, in October 2021 news arrived of an agreement between SEA Milan Airports and Skyports to evaluate the opportunity; to develop and manage a network of vertiports in Italy starting from Milan.

DEVELOP NEW CONCEPTS OF MOBILITY?
As far as we learn, ENAC and the Lombardy Region have signed a Protocol d & rsquo; Understanding to carry out activities municipalities in favor of the development of new concepts of mobility; advanced and sustainable air (Advanced Air Mobility). The goal is that of using mobility; aerial to offer innovative services that allow to improve the quality & agrave; of citizens' life.

It is emphasized that the agreement will allow; to regulate the modalities; of collaboration for the mutual exchange of information and for the definition of the regulatory context. Furthermore, joint initiatives and services will be organized in the field of mobility; urban and advanced airfields that are efficient, safe, sustainable and interoperable with the airport infrastructures and with those of public transport in Lombardy.
In particular, we look with interest at the Olympics of Milan-Cortina of 2026 in which mobility aerial could be a very interesting option.
