Domestic. Despite a straight career within the Green Party, Lorentz Tovatt now chooses to leave politics. At least he claims it himself on TV4 Nyhetsmorgon.

Lorentz Tovatt, 32, is today a member of parliament and climate and energy policy spokesman for MP.
He has received attention for his provocative style on social media – most recently last week when he wrote “Shut up your purebred pig” in response to a proponent of nuclear power on Twitter.
But now Tovatt states in TV4 Nyhetsmorgon that he will leave politics. This despite the fact that he has been seen as a future mouthpiece promise.
– I think that no politician really feels good or is a good politician when he or she is in politics for too long. At this level in politics, it's like running in a tunnel and things come against you all the time. Then it is quite difficult to keep an eye on the vision and it is easy to miss the bigger perspectives. So I want to look outside the walls of the Riksdag and see the reality, he says to TV4.
At the same time, the opinion figures indicate that the MP will leave the Riksdag after the election this autumn.
Lorentz Tovatt further states that he is afraid of becoming cynical and bitter, because he gets so pissed when he does not get through his climate policy in the Riksdag.
He also admits that he sometimes “steps a little too far” in his rhetoric on Twitter. However, the 32-year-old assures that he never “kicks down”.
– If I compare myself with those on the right wing who tweet outspoken, they kick down. They are shitty towards unaccompanied refugee children. I would never get myself to do that. I strike aside, against my political opponents.
Whether the 32-year-old politician has plans to get a real job, or if he intends to continue earning a living on so-called assignments, is not clear from the interview. However, he admits that he will probably have a “hard time staying away” from politics in the future.
