Domestic. On October 12, 2021, a murder and an attempted murder took place in Farsta Strand. No one has yet been arrested for the crimes – and the police are now appealing for the public's help to advance the investigation.

A 43-year-old man was shot to death at the time with several shots. Another person was shot but survived.
But so far the police have not found anything in the background of the two victims that explains why they were shot.
The police are investigating several possible explanations for why the two were shot . The current hypothesis is, however, that those who were shot were not the intended victims.
– I am sure that there is someone or someone who has information that could lead this investigation forward, says investigation leader Amelie Grenehammar, at the police department for serious crimes in police area Stockholm south, on the police website.
She continues:
– All shootings are tragic but you are especially affected when investigating shootings where it seems like that the plaintiff was not the intended, that is, so-called misfires. I hope those in charge of information want to help us. At present there is no detainee, but we are working on and hope that we, among other things, with the help of the public will be able to change it,.
The technical investigation of the crime scene has shown that the perpetrators were at the back of Brunskogsbacken 39 when the shots was fired. To the left of the rear entrance under the lower balcony is a niche. That niche is not lit. According to the police, information in the investigation indicates that the deceased plaintiff was there to smoke.
