Domestic. A left-wing extremist who has been convicted of brutally gang-beating an immigration critic has got a job as a middle school teacher at Gustaviskolan in Gothenburg. But when journalists from Exakt24 asked the principal of the values-certified school for a comment, he tried to confiscate their camera equipment.

Like many other left-wing extremists, Elias Pettersson has a background in the Left Party and he ran for the party to the City Council in 2010. But he would later be radicalized and get involved in the left-wing extremist union Syndikalisterna, where he is now a board member in Gothenburg.
“A bourgeois skull against concrete for every comrade beaten by a baton!” writes Pettersson in a post on Facebook.
At the same time, he has got a job as a teacher in year four at Gustaviskolan in Gothenburg.
When Exakt24 visited the school to get a comment from the principal, Henrik Wennberg, he refused to answer any questions. The noticeably pressured principal first referred to corona distance and then stated that one does not have the right to film in a school – which is not true.

When Henrik Wennberg wanted to discuss the issue outdoors, the journalists began to move towards the exit, where the principal tried to take their camera equipment. The incident has been reported to the police as a nuisance by Exakt24.
Exakt24 later tried to reach the principal when he was on his way to work. However, Henrik Wennberg called the police when he saw the journalists. He also tried to disguise himself and take his bike to work instead of the car he usually takes, according to Exakt24.
Gustaviskolan is a small school in central Gothenburg with a class in each grade from preschool class to grade 5.
Gustaviskolan's values state: “The school must help you and do something to stop the violations. To help us in that work, we have a plan against discrimination and abusive treatment. In it we describe our preventive and promotional work. and what action we take if someone is violated. “
