The shot was accidentally fired at a table when the police were to check that the colleague's pistol was uncharged – so-called cartridge out.
Two colleagues were in the room when the incident occurred in August last year in connection with the police handing over their and a colleague's weapon.
According to the rules, the cartridge must be made in a special weapon room. The case was handled by the authority's personal liability committee, which decided that the employee should receive a 25 percent salary deduction for five days.
