Economics. Ikea will raise the prices of its products by an average of close to 10 percent in January.

“For the first time since higher costs began to affect the global economy, IKEA will raise its prices in the coming weeks […]”, Ikea writes in a press release.
“The increases is global and on average around 9 percent “, the furniture giant continues.
According to Ikea, price increases vary from product to product and from country to country depending on inflationary pressures, as well as on how the raw material and supply chain looks for the country and the individual products.
“We continue to monitor how costs develop. At the same time, we work with solutions to manage these costs in the best way – against that background, we then make decisions about our prices,” writes Ikea.
