The production of the Microlino 2.0 that we had the opportunity to see closely at the Munich Motor Show 2021 & egrave; been postponed for a few months. The reason, as the manufacturer explains, is; to be sought in the semiconductor supply problems that are affecting the entire automotive sector. Originally, the company's goal was to begin deliveries of this particular car by the end of 2021. To give an example of the difficulties; of component sourcing, the company says lead times for simple wire harness connectors can be up to 50 weeks.
Due to this complex situation, production should start towards the mid & agrave; of March 2022 . Currently they already come & agrave; some cars produced with final specifications but are used for testing purposes. The first deliveries are expected in April/May for customers in Switzerland. Deliveries for the German market will begin shortly thereafter.
Meanwhile, the Swiss company makes it known that it is working on the production line at the CECOMP headquarters in La Loggia, Turin. The car, as we know, will be; built in Italy .
In February it will be & agrave; made available the online configurator. However, initially only Swiss customers will be able to place orders.
LIMITED EDITION PIONEER SERIES 
As we know, the Microlino 2.0 will be; proposed in three versions: Urban, Dolce and Competizione . The differences are mainly of an aesthetic nature. The Swiss company has emphasized that the first 500 units will be offered in an exclusive limited edition Pioneer Series . This car, please note, has a powertrain capable of delivering 12.5 kW with 89 Nm of torque. The speed maximum reaches 90 km/h while accelerating from 0 to 50 km/h takes 5 seconds. The engine can & ograve; be powered by batteries with a capacity; of 6 kWh, 10.5 kWh and 14 kWh. The autonomy reaches up to 95 km, 175 km and 230 km respectively.
Microlino 2.0 & egrave; 2,519 mm long and & egrave; an electric car designed for urban use and for car sharing services. Prices start at 12,500 euros.
