Abroad. The Italian government is now preparing a requirement for mandatory corona vaccination for everyone over the age of 50, reports Reuters.

According to a draft decision, the vaccination requirement will take effect immediately, until June 15 this year.
For those over 50 who refuse to take the vaccine, a fine of between 600 and 1,500 is expected. From the beginning of February to the end of March, vaccine passes will also be required to visit shops, banks, hairdressers and more.
Italy has registered more than 138,000 deaths with covid- 19 since the outbreak in February 2020. This is the second highest number in Europe after the United Kingdom.
Prime Minister Mario Draghi's government has previously introduced mandatory vaccination for teachers and healthcare professionals.
