Barely one in three Germans believe in the state's corona figures

In the new survey, a majority, 57 percent, state outright that they do not believe the figures from the state Robert Koch Institute, the authority responsible for keeping the statistics.

Only 32 percent say they trust the state corona statistics.

Germany is currently, according to official statistics, on its way out of a strong wave of infections that reached its peak in early December. However, there are signs that the spread of infection is increasing again due to the omicron variant.

The new left-wing government plans to vaccinate the entire German population in two cases by early 2022.
