Seven years in prison for the kebab duo

The duo, who are both serving prison sentences for murder, were charged with, among other things, taking two prison guards hostage and for trying to blackmail the Swedish Prison and Probation Service .

In connection with the drama, they demanded a helicopter and 200,000 euros. However, they gave up after one of their demands was met – that kebab pizzas should be delivered to the inmates in their ward.

Isak Dewit and Haned Mahamed Abdullahi themselves have acknowledged large parts of the course of events.

The district court considers that the prosecution is largely substantiated and convicts the two murderers of two counts of kidnapping, two counts of aggravated threatening an official and aggravated extortion.

Isak Dewit is also convicted of threatening an official at another time.

The men must also pay damages to the two prison guards who were held in custody.

The district court sentences Dewit and Abdullahi to seven years in prison, which they must serve in addition to the long prison sentences. they are already earning. In assessing the length of the sentence, the district court has taken into account, among other things, that the deprivation of liberty lasted a relatively long time, that the victims were under threat throughout the deprivation of liberty and that one of the purposes of the deprivation of liberty was to release the accused.
