Domestic. Burglars smashed a window with a stone and managed to steal computers and IT equipment as well as police IDs and personal belongings from the police station in Kristianstad on Sunday, writes Kristianstadsbladet.

A security guard discovered that thieves had broken into the police house without the alarm being triggered.
– We take this extremely seriously. The police house must have a high shell protection with working alarms. But some type of technical error has meant that the alarm was not triggered, says local police area chief Anders Olofsson to Kristianstadsbladet.
According to Olofsson, it should not be possible for anyone to access the information on the stolen computers.
