From Apple Music With Love
Apple is giving something for free for the first time in a long time, although you must be an Apple Music subscriber for it and that costs between €4.99 and €14.99 per month. Around the holiday season, there will be exclusive content from renowned artists such as Mariah Carey, Coldplay, Alicia Keys, Elton John, DJ Khaled and Nile Rodgers. It's about playlists, EPs, DJ mixes, a radio show and other surprises.
Exclusive ColdPlay EP
One of the presents is an EP from Coldplay called ‘Entitled Infinity Station Sessions’. It contains four songs from their latest album ‘Music of the Spheres’. Apple has a tradition of giving away all kinds of content for free. For years, around Christmas, the company organized 12 Days Gifts, where you could download free music tracks. There were also free apps via the Apple Store app and you could find scratch cards for free apps and music at Starbucks.
Those giveaways no longer exist, but luckily others have mostly taken over. For example, the Indie App Santa Advent Calendar allows you to download a free or discounted app every day.
