Culture. With promises of film roles and a bright future in the Swedish film industry, the left & shy; profile and director Staffan Hildebrand attracted boys up to the age of 13 to have sex with him. Now he says that what he did was wrong.

It is in a new book, “G as in perpetrator”, that two of the boys – then 13 and 15 years old – tell about how they had sex with Hildebrand in the 1980s, in connection with the filming of the movie “G – as in community”.
According to Expressen, one boy was only 13 years old when the homosexual abuse began.
The director now says that he realizes that what he did was wrong.
– Not then, but now with that knowledge, with Metoo and all this … Of course it's wrong. He was not mature, so to speak, to understand his sexuality at that age. But he was very mature and developed and an interesting person, says Staffan Hildebrand to Expressen.
