BMW has kicked off deliveries of the new electric i4 in Germany. For the occasion, the car manufacturer organized a mini event dedicated exclusively to these new battery-powered cars which was attended by the first owners. This is interesting news as the deliveries started earlier than the original plans. This bodes well that the German brand will be able to quickly meet the bookings it has received for this model.
A vehicle which, apparently, is enjoying great success as Bernhard Kuhnt , Senior Vice President of the BMW Group, highlighted that the demand & egrave; very high. The same executive then added that in about a week the deliveries of the first BMW iX will start.
We are delighted to expand our range of electrified products with this Gran Coup & eacute; sporty and fully electric at just the right time and to present the first vehicles to our customers today, three months earlier than originally planned. The first delivery of a BMW i4 today and the first BMW iX in about a week are further milestones for the BMW Group on the road to electromobility.
