Economics. The next head of the US banking authority, the OCC, will be the communist and banker Saule Omarova – if Joe Biden gets to decide.

Biden has nominated Omarova for the heavyweight position as supervisor of the country's currency, comptroller of the currency, and thus also head of the OCC.
However, several Republicans state that the appointment will be stopped.

The Republican line is supported by 21 finance officials at the state level, letters require the nomination to be revoked.
