– Sansa er neighbor and leave the straw men to the Communists, Karlsson thundered from the podium.

In recent years, SD's party board, led by chief ideologue Mattias Karlsson, has sharply toned down the party's demands for return. During SD's national days, the Young Swedes demanded a tougher policy, which led Karlsson to urge them to “calm down” and to compare them with communist parties.

One of the youth union's representatives, Rebecka Fallenkvist, directed harsh criticism at how Karlsson and the SD leadership have tried to dilute the party's previous hard line in migration & shy; policy. She further stated that SD voters will hardly abandon SD because the party is clearly against immigration, and suggested that the party board acts as it does for other reasons.

– Is it because we try to be part of the establishment that we ourselves claim to be fighting? said Fallenkvist, who is a news anchor on SD's Youtube channel Riks, and continued:

– The Sweden Democrats do a lot but in this case not enough. We are not moderates, we are not Christian Democrats, we are Sweden Democrats.

Linnea Alm, SD member of the education committee in Uppsala, stated that SD at the municipal level does a lot to promote return but that more support is needed from the party leadership centrally.

– Wants to evict criminals and their families from the municipality housing, she stated and attacked a speech from the SD and Flashback profile Jörgen Fogelklou, who used SD's work for return at the municipal level as an argument for not pursuing a clear return & shy; policy at the national level.

– I do not agree with this. We as Sweden Democrats must wear the leader's shirt on immigration issues, both in the municipalities, regions and the Riksdag, she said.

Jonathan Sager from Ungsvenskarna in Kalmar compared immigration from the third world with a sinking canoe.

< "Every human being who has been in one has understood that it is not enough to stop the inflow: a real outflow is required," he said.

Mattias Karlsson finally took to the stage and claimed that he “really” did not intend to engage in more internal battles, but when he heard “greatly exaggerated rhetoric and straw men” he changed his mind. From the podium, Karlsson then denied that the party board now wanted a multicultural society and called on the youth union to stop accusing them of it.

– We have recently heard here from various representatives from the youth union that they question whether the party board is for assimilation or now wants a multicultural society. Rhetorical questions have been asked about whether the party board wants to allow children to have sex every other day. Insinuations have been made that the party board would adapt the formulation of the party's policy to the views of SVT and it has also been claimed that SD has no return policy, said Karlsson.

According to Mattias Karlsson, who is considered one of the party most skilled power players when it comes to SD's important internal battles, referred to the fact that there is a section on return on the party's website.

– So that youthful enthusiasm is fantastically good, but calm down a bit and leave the straw men to the Communists, Karlsson concluded.

The young Swedes' motion for a clearer stance on return and assimilation was then voted down by the members.

< p>According to SVT's expert Paula Bieler, the Young Swedes' motion contains “no concrete proposals” on how return migration should be conducted, but is only about “word choice and communication”. But this is not in line with the content of the motion itself, where the youth union problematizes that the party board wants to ban aid to Islamist regimes, as Sweden should be able to exert aid pressure to be forced to receive its own citizens when repatriation takes place, so that repatriation decisions can be enforced./p>

“Some countries that are either pure Islamist regimes or otherwise apply sharia law and are worth mentioning in this context are Afghanistan, Iran, Egypt, Nigeria, Somalia, Iraq, Pakistan and Syria – some countries that probably have some citizens With the proposals as they are presented, no aid pressure can be exerted on the said countries, which is why other solutions must be explored “, the youth union writes in its motion.

As for word choice, however, the mother party is criticized for having started talking about “integration” instead of assimilation of immigrants. SD's policy has traditionally been based on assimilating immigrants to become Swedes, how should it go now.
