After resigning as Prime Minister, the 64-year-old S-politician is entitled to severance pay for another year .
This so-called parachute is thus SEK 2,160,000.
Politician salaries in Sweden have increased steadily. During his time as Prime Minister, Carl Bildt received a monthly salary of SEK 65,000.
