“Children send drawings to the soldiers in which they express gratitude to the soldiers who protect their homeland”, writes the news agency Visegrad 24.
The situation at the border between Poland and Belarus has remained tense, and groups of illegal immigrants regularly try to storm the border by force.
According to Poland, the Belarusian authorities continue to bus new immigrants to the border, reports Al Jazeera. On Thursday, however, Belarus is said to have begun evacuating a camp at the border and preparing to send home some of the immigrants.
Elementary schools from across Poland have joined a campaign meant to boost morale among the soldiers protecting the country's borders.
Children are sending drawings to the soldiers, in which they express gratitude to the soldiers protecting their homeland.

Poland is now receiving help from other EU countries. Among other things, the Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has decided to send 100 soldiers to the affected border area to support the work of the Poles. French and British forces have already arrived at the site.
Across Poland, various types of tributes are seen to the soldiers who hold the border.
