The incitement against white people has been particularly intense in the American media in connection with the acquittal. It has therefore been speculated that the act against the Christmas parade may have been committed by someone who wanted to kill whites as revenge for the verdict.

A black man, 39-year-old Darrell Brooks Jr., is now the main suspect in the attack. According to Heavy.com. is Brooks rapper, and a red city jeep can be seen in a rap video he posted on his Facebook page.

On social media, Brooks has expressed strong hatred against white people and even urged people to unprovokedly abuse whites, reports National Justice. “Even old white people” should be beaten, according to a post.

In his song “Minnesota”, Brooks raps about “throwing a bomb” at the police to teach them about “black power”. In another song, he calls himself a “terrorist”.

On Facebook, he has also commented on the verdict against Rittenhouse. He writes that he is “not surprised” that the 18-year-old was acquitted.

Darrell Brooks Jr. has previously been investigated for a number of other crimes, including gun crime and assault. However, he was released on bail just two weeks before the act.
