Gizmodo about the AirPods 3
Gizmodo reviewer Andrew Liszweski thinks the AirPods 3 look and feel almost the same as the AirPods Pro, but without the silicone eartips. They are just a little smaller. The sound is good, they are very comfortable to wear, even if you want to enjoy music for hours. And you have quick access to Siri. The fact that there is no active noise reduction is a disappointment.
The sound is not better than the AirPods Pro, but they do sound better than the previous generation AirPods. Really something to use every day.

The Verge about the AirPods 3
Chris Welch of The Verge thinks the new shape is more appropriate. Spatial sound can be heard well and the fact that it fits your ears better means that less ambient noise penetrates. They are also slightly heavier and less likely to fall out of your ear.

TechCrunch on the AirPods 3
TechCrunch finds the AirPods 3 more comfortable than the older AirPods without a doubt. They have a better shape and more contour, making them better suited for people with small ears. Still, the audio quality of the AirPods Pro is better, although they creep closer together. Reviewer Brian Heater thinks they will eventually merge. If you don't think active noise cancellation is important and you don't want eartips, then it's an easy choice. If you want the best, the choice is quite simple: take the Pros.

Engadget about the AirPods 3
Billy Steele from Engadget thinks the AirPods 3 are much better in terms of sound than previous models. No major improvements in sound quality have been made, but some parts such as the driver and amplifier have been improved. Both deliver a rich and consistent bass. Calling also sounds better, both on the phone and especially via FaceTime.
