It has become a tradition for Apple to release a new successive update of the latest version of iOS in October. This year is no different, with iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1. In it you will find a number of deferred functions, but also new possibilities especially for the iPhone 13 Pro.

iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1 available

The iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1 updates bring some welcome additions. Two improvements are coming for iPhone 13 Pro owners: support for ProRes and a manual switch for the macro function. The latter is especially useful. Previously, the iPhone automatically switched to the telephoto lens for the macro function as soon as you got close to an object to be photographed, but that is not always desired. You can switch that off with this new switch.

But there is also plenty to do for users of other models. The biggest addition is SharePlay. The feature was previously planned, but is now finally available. With it, you can not only listen to music or watch Apple TV+ with someone, but also share your entire screen.
