Domestic. Higher education in Sweden gives the second lowest wage premium of all OECD countries, new statistics presented by Statistics Sweden show.

In Sweden, the salary is not affected by the level of education to the same extent as in other countries.
A Swedish post-secondary education comprising at least two years gives an average of 22 percent higher salary than a high school education . For OECD member countries, the corresponding average is 54 percent.
Our Nordic neighbors also have a lower wage premium for longer post-secondary education than the OECD average. Norway is the only country in the OECD that has a lower wage premium than Sweden.
Finland stands out a little among the Nordic countries and is closer to the OECD average.
