It was when NBC's TV reporter Kelli Stavast interviewed Brandon Brown – who had just won a Nascar race in Taladega, Alabama – that the comic meme arose.
In the background, it was heard how spectators who had gathered to watch the car race, and who saw that there was a TV interview, suddenly began to chant: “Fuck Joe Biden” in the background. This is a rhyme that was widely circulated in the United States during the autumn.
Kelli Stavast reacted to the rhyme by incorrectly informing Brandon Brown that the spectators shouted “Let's go Brandon”.
