Domestic. An “evacuation” of Afghan citizens from Afghanistan to Sweden was carried out on Saturday, states the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for TT.

“A group of Afghan citizens connected to Sweden, including former employees of the Armed Forces, including interpreters, have now been evacuated from Afghanistan. The group has not yet arrived in Sweden. For safety reasons, we do not provide details on how this work is conducted. We are working to help more similar groups with links to Sweden to get out of Afghanistan “, writes Foreign Minister Ann Linde (S) to TT.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not want to go into how many people have been evacuated.
With what legal support the import takes place is unclear, as the quota refugee system that the government applies and the Riksdag has approved does not include anything other than quota refugees. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, legal support is covered by consular secrecy.
