In China & egrave; the production of the new electric Zeekr 001 which had been officially unveiled in April 2021 has started. It must first be remembered that Zeekr & egrave; a new brand of Geely created to offer premium models. The manufacturer also makes it known that the first customers will receive the car already; in a few days and precisely from 23 October. This is an interesting model that perhaps will be; also marketed outside the Chinese market only in 2022.
For the production of the electric car, Zeekr will exploit & agrave; a factory equipped with a very high level of automation with over 300 robots doing the job with limited human intervention. Thanks to an internal high-speed network; & egrave; production can be planned, tracked and controlled. Furthermore, the Zeekr manufacturing process allows for continuous self-optimization.
VERY HIGH POWER CHARGING 
Let's recall some of the specifications of this interesting electric car. Zeekr 001 measure 4,970 mm long x 1,999 mm wide x 1,560 mm high, with a step of 3,005 mm. The car is based on the new SEA platform that Geely has developed specifically for battery-powered models. The powertrain of the top-of-the-range model is; composed of a double electric motor which therefore also allows for all-wheel drive.
There is a total of 400 kW of power with a maximum torque of 768 Nm . Excellent performance since the car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. Alternatively, however, there is; also a version with a single 200 kW engine . In the model with 100 kWh battery and single engine, the car offers a range of up to 712 km according to the NEDC cycle which, however, is ; notoriously inaccurate. The interesting aspect is that the battery pack can recharge at very high power, up to 360 kW . In this way, the constructor declares that & egrave; possible to go from 10% to 80% of the capacity battery in 30 minutes. The 001 & egrave; also offered with 86 kWh battery.
The car manufacturer has announced that it will open & agrave; ultra-fast 360 kW charging stations in 10 cities; of China by the end of 2021. The car has many features; advanced and supports OTA updates . Precisely in this regard, the manufacturer has emphasized that it is already; working on an update that will go; to improve its Zeekr Assisted Drive (ZAD) system. Over time, the car will receive & agrave; constant updates that will allow to improve its functionality. The Zeekr 001 & egrave; available in three variants with a price between 281,000 and 360,000 RMB, that is; between around € 37,800 and € 48,440.
