Domestic. Four residents of a dementia home in Lerum are suspected of having been raped by a now 33-year-old former moderate politician. The prosecutor states this now.

– We can now provide information that it concerns crimes against four people who have been living in the nursing home at the current time. Those involved are informed, says chamber prosecutor Hediye Kurt at the Public Prosecutor's Office in Borås, in a statement.
The 33-year-old has previously been arrested on probable cause on suspicion of 19 aggravated rapes.
The suspected crimes must have been committed during the years 2015-2017 when the man worked at the nursing home.
The man is also suspected of child pornography crimes.
He has previously been involved in the Moderate youth union, Muf, and had positions of trust for the Moderates in the municipality in question. Among other things, he was a jury member in the Court of Appeal.
In June 2019, the man was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison for aggravated theft, drug offenses and receiving. He had then stolen jewelery, cash and other items from elderly people he visited in his work in the home care service.
