In the spring of 2021, Maria Sveland and other feminists started a fundraiser – “Förtalskassan” – which will be used to pay fines for women who have lied about sexual abuse and been convicted of libel.

Together with Cissi Wallin, who has been convicted in the district court for gross slander by the Aftonbladet profile Fredrik Virtanen, she has made the documentary “The lawless”, which premieres on SVT Play on Sunday.

Cissi Wallin is also being investigated for defamation also by comedian Soran Ismail, and employees at SVT are critical of the documentary being broadcast.

“Anger is bubbling”, reports Aftonbladet, and on Wednesday afternoon a crisis meeting will be held where employees are informed about the process around the feminist film. <./p>
