Ford, new investment in Europe for electricity

Ford is pursuing its ambitious electrification plan for the European market. Part of this strategy is the new investment of 230 million pounds (approximately 272 million euros) that will allow & agrave; to transform the Halewood plant , in the United Kingdom, into a site where components will be produced for the American manufacturer's future electric vehicles. Specifically, the engines and transmissions for battery-powered cars will be built.

The conversion work that will be; carried out will allow & agrave; to Ford to start the production of components for electric vehicles towards the middle & agrave; of 2024 .
