Apple Watch Series 7 sale has started
We had to wait a little longer than usual, but as of today the new Apple Watch has finally gone on sale. The new Apple Watch Series 7 has a larger screen, faster charging and some other small improvements. If you've already pre-ordered the Apple Watch Series 7, you're probably in the right place. But what if you still want to buy a new Apple Watch? Where can you go then? Is there still single sales in the Apple Store and are there any bargains? What about stock?
What about stock?
Even before the Apple Watch Series 7 pre-order started, éé One thing is clear: if you want it today, you have to be quick. The stock is limited, because by now all models at Apple are actually sold out. If you still want to order a new Apple Watch Series 7 from Apple, you should take into account a delivery at the earliest end of November. Many models and colors have already been moved to the beginning of December, so you will have to be extra patient this year. This applies to both the standard versions and the Nike variant.
We expect that some physical stores will also start selling today, but that the stock there will also be limited. At some stores, such as MediaMarkt, you can order online for in-store pickup, so you can be sure of a copy. In addition, you will also find show models in a number of stores, so that you can view the new Apple Watch for yourself.

Should I buy the Apple Watch Series 7?
Whether the Apple Watch Series 7 is a suitable model for you depends on all kinds of factors. What do you want to do with it, which functions are important to you and what do you want to spend on it? In addition to the Apple Watch Series 7, the Apple Watch SE and the Apple Watch Series 3 are also available. We regularly receive questions from people who want to pick up their new Apple Watch at the Apple Store. Other questions about the new model are also regularly asked. Below we discuss a few:
Can I go to the Store for single sales at the last minute?
Yes, but you may need to be quick. Although new products usually only work by appointment, this is not currently the case with the Apple Watch. In all three Apple Stores in the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Haarlem, The Hague), Apple also has a (limited) stock for individual sales of the Apple Watch Series 7. Please note that not every model and strap may be in stock.
Do I need to be at the Store at the agreed time?
No, it doesn't have to be exact. If you have a time slot between 10:00 and 10:15, you should join the queue around this time slot. That does not have to be exactly at 10:00, but it is also possible at 10:13. And if you are late due to unexpected setbacks, you will still receive your device at 10:30 am. If you come later, you may have to wait a little longer.
What if I am late for my timeslot?
You can also pick up your ordered iPhone at a later time. Because you have already paid for the device, Apple will not just give the iPhone to someone else.
Apple has mainly chosen the time slots to regulate the influx of people. So make sure you are on time. Preferably not too early, but not too late either. You have two weeks to collect your order from the Apple Store.
And don't forget to bring your passport or other ID!
Can I still cancel my order?
That's possible. In the Apple Store app, you can tap the Cancel this item link to cancel the purchase. You will then receive your money back after a few days.
Can someone else pick up my order?
Which can. You can assign an extra person in the app. With the QR code and valid identification, this person can pick up the iPhone. You must arrange this in advance.
Can I pay for extra items?
If you have reserved an Apple Watch and you come to pick it up, you can also take some extra accessories with you, such as a new band. A shopping list with seven more Apple Watches, a few new iPhones and a new MacBook will not work, because Apple wants to process the orders as quickly as possible.
Can I still make a reservation?
That is possible, but then you will receive delivery later. If you order an Apple Watch Series 7 from Apple now, your order will be delivered by mid-November at the earliest. The longer you wait, the longer the delivery times will be.
ordered an Apple Watch Series 7 (GPS), but I still prefer the 4G version. What can I do?
Apple has announced that sales of the Apple Watch Series 7 Cellular + GPS (4G) will start soon. It is not yet known when the sales of these models will start exactly, but we expect this sometime in the coming months. If you prefer the 4G version, you can always cancel your current order. You will therefore have to place a new order as soon as the sale of the 4G model starts.
You can also continue your current order and even use the Apple Watch. You have up to two weeks to change your mind before you can return your order to Apple and get your money back. You could use these two weeks to try out the Apple Watch Series 7.
When will the 4G version be available?
Unfortunately, nobody knows that yet. Apple has only said that the Apple Watch 4G (both the Apple Watch Series 7 and the Apple Watch SE) will be ‘coming soon’ is available. This probably concerns the aluminum and the stainless steel versions. You can read more about it in our Apple Watch 4G FAQ.

You may not be too late! You can still order your iPhone at any time from the web shops, telecom providers and of course also from Apple itself. Stock will differ per store.
