The future of Lamborghini is not; only linked to the electrification of its range of cars but also to a project that aims to ensure greater sustainability; of its activities productive . The car manufacturer has announced a series of initiatives that will allow, over the next few years, to achieve a significant reduction in polluting emissions . In this regard, the manufacturer has made it known that he intends to build a plant for the use of biomethane instead of natural gas to power its Sant & rsquo; Agata Bolognese plant.
Lamborghini says that this plant will deliver; almost 4 million cubic meters per year, equal to approximately 65% of the company's gas needs, and will allow; to reduce CO2 emissions from the current 37% to around 80%, for a total of over 11,000 tons of CO2 per year. This is the latest initiative of the manufacturer linked to the theme of sustainability. In this regard, we recall the construction of one of the most & ugrave; large photovoltaic plants in Emilia Romagna, the creation of a district heating and trigeneration plant and the launch of a sustainable logistics project. In terms of sustainability, Lamborghini & egrave; was a forerunner in the automotive sector, when the issue was not yet addressed, if not partially, by large companies.
