Domestic. A 19-year-old illegal immigrant from Serbia has been sentenced to prison and deportation for trying to rape a young woman he picked up when she hitchhiked. The woman managed to throw herself out of the car and hide in a barn during the dramatic course of events.

The incident occurred on August 5 this year. The woman was on holiday in Sweden and she would travel around the country for six to eight weeks before she started studying.
The woman was going from Kil to Mora but it was complicated by train and she missed the bus she had intended to take. She was stranded in Fagerås and decided to hitchhike north.
After a while, a white van came riding with a man who introduced himself as “Alex”. She asked where he was going and he pointed north so she went with. He said that he was going to a place between Fagerås and Sunne and that she could go there.
When they went a bit, she got the feeling that not everything was right. The man suddenly became silent and then he suddenly said she was sexy. She thought it was uncomfortable and wanted him to let her go. He then started pawing at her and offering her money for sexual services.
According to the woman, he drove at 110 km per hour on a small road and increased his speed when she asked him to let her go. He grabbed her abdomen against her protests and put her hand on his penis while driving.
– Then he pulled down his pants and started masturbating while driving at 110 km per hour. I saw the movements as the hand went up and down. I did not want to look, the woman says in interrogation.
At one point he grabbed her abdomen. She twisted her legs and then they turned into an entrance at a farmhouse, where she threw herself out of the car. She wrote down the registration number in her head, called 112 and hid in the farm barn.
Inside the barn she saw the man standing at the entrance and coming towards her with steady fast steps. He grabbed her and held her. She tried to get around him so she could run from there. Then he grabbed her legs. She felt his fingers against her abdomen and he tried to press his fingers. He tried to pull down her pants but they were tied and he did not succeed.
The man then lifted her up so that she fell backwards. Then she came around him and had rented out freely. She did not dare to run but walked backwards out of the barn while she had the phone in her hand. When she came out of the barn, she ran away. The woman saw the man get in the car and drive around the yard for a while. But in the end she went out on the E45 and then she ran towards a house she had seen.
The 19-year-old man has lived illegally in Sweden and worked illegally as a pig keeper. He was sentenced for his refusal to 1 year and 4 months in prison for attempted rape. He is also deported from Sweden for five years and must pay SEK 42,500 in damages to the woman.
