Logitech For Creators: 3 Mevo cameras for streams from multiple angles

Under the new brand extension “Logitech For Creators”, which unites the brands Blue Microphones, Mevo and Streamlabs, Logitech is bringing a camera set from Mevo that is specially designed for “Creator” and Streamer and consists of three portable, wireless Mevo-Start cameras to take recordings from multiple angles.

The set can be used for both live streaming and recordings in 1080p resolution. The cameras communicate via WLAN (802.11ac), but Ethernet can also be used on request if the optionally available Ethernet adapter is purchased. The battery life of the Mevo-Start cameras is specified by Logitech with up to six hours, the integrated battery has a capacity of 4,900 mAh. It is charged via the USB-C interface on the back of the camera, which is also possible during operation.

There is also a slot for a microSD card on the back. With a diagonal field of view of 83.7 degrees, Logitech promises recordings and streams in Full HD without fisheye distortion. The three integrated microphones have noise suppression, but if desired the analog audio input can also be selected by connecting a microphone via the 3.5 mm jack input. But the USB-C connection can also be used as an audio input.

The Mevo-Multicam-App for coupling, configuration and control of the system is available free of charge for both Android and iOS. It can also be used to control recordings using a smartphone or tablet. With the integrated auto director, it also offers an audio mixer. In addition, users have the option of adding individual graphics and text overlays to their content in the app.

The Mevo Start 3-Pack will be available from October 2021 on mevo.com and on Amazon at a recommended retail price of 1,149 euros. Mevo Start is still available individually for a recommended retail price of 449 euros *. The new set offers a price advantage of 198 euros.
