“Riding a bus”, Björn Söder wrote in a Twitter post on Monday and continued:
“The driver has put on his CD with Arabic music flowing into the air. some may think it's exotic, but there are quite a few of us who do not think it's ok. Shouldn't there be a requirement for some kind of 'neutral' music on public buses? “
The SD politician ended his post with the so-called hashtag #islamiseringenavSverige.
David Erixon, communications manager at the public transport company Nobina, tells Aftonbladet that it is “a strange discussion”.
– Drivers get to listen to music or radio in the driver environment, it is a work environment issue to be able to do that. It is a completely different thing to play music in the bus' speaker system, it is not allowed, Erixon tells the newspaper.
