On 11 May 2021, the police will receive a report of a missing person regarding a 21-year-old man living in Storvreta outside Uppsala.

The last sighting of him was in central Uppsala on the evening of May 9, when he may have been on his way to Gränby in Uppsala.

On July 22, the man was found dead in a forest area at Fjällnora Friluftsområde just outside Uppsala. Preliminary investigation into murder begins.

The police suspect that the man was abducted against his will during the night of May 10 and that he was killed shortly afterwards.

Murder night < br />There is information in the investigation that shows that the man was in central Uppsala during the evening of 9 May. The information says that he traveled by bicycle, and that he was going to Gränby. When surveillance cameras were examined in the area, there is a sequence which, according to the police, can be assumed to show part of the course of events surrounding the man's abduction, and this is consistent in time with other investigative information.

The place where surveillance camera has captured an incident is the intersection Bruno Liljeforsgatan/Levertinsgatan in Uppsala on May 10 at 00:36. What you see in the film is a person cycling on Levertinsgatan and crossing Bruno Liljeforsgatan in the direction of Råbyvägen. Two cars that are interesting in the investigation seem to follow the cyclist.

A couple of minutes later, around 00:40, a dark car of the station wagon is parked on a walkway at Bellmansparken. From the place, loud voices and screams are heard from more than one person, after which car doors slam shut. Then the dark combo leaves the walkway in the direction of Stagneliusgatan. There is a bicycle left on the site. When the dark combi turns out onto Stagneliusgatan, it meets another car and these seem to be followed from the place. These two incidents put the police in connection with the man's disappearance.

Situation of the investigation
The investigation is progressing and there is good confidence that the crime will be solved. However, the police need help with a few more pieces of the puzzle.

A car that is relevant in both places is a dark station wagon. There is information about another car that is lighter in color, which meets the dark combi as it turns out of the walkway at Bellmansparken on Stagneliusgatan after the incident.

* The police are particularly interested in the dark station wagon that can be seen on surveillance film on May 10 at 00:36, which follows the cyclist on Levertinsgatan. All observations of this car, both before and after the time are very interesting.

* The police wish to receive observations of the cyclist and the cars in the area around Levertinsgatan/Råbyvägen and Bellmansgatan at 00: 36-01: 00 on 10 May to the place where the dark combi was parked on the walkway in Bellmansparken.

* The police want to get in touch with the person walking with an umbrella along Bruno Liljeforsgatan at 00:36 on 10 May, which can be seen in the surveillance film.

* The police want to get in touch with the person who took care of the bike that was left at the scene of the suspected abduction.
