Domestic. ROV operator Linus Andersson, who handled the dives off Estonia in Henrik Evertsson's D-Play documentary “The find that changes everything”, believes that the bedrock on the bottom of the Baltic Sea may have caused the damage he and Evertsson revealed to be in the hull. <.

The stone must have pushed in the part of the hull that was damaged, he believes. And that parts of the broken plate point outwards, he claims that may be due to the plate getting stuck and then pulled off the rock when the ship moved further, writes SVT.

Some conclusions, however, it is too early to draw, according to Andersson.

– I go so far as to say that there is a high correlation between the bedrock and the damage area. There is an old rule that says that the explanation that requires the least extra explanations, is usually the most likely, he says to SVT.

Henrik Evertsson, who received an award for the revelation, believes that it is too early to say something about the new pictures.

– What we showed with the series was that they did not make a full examination of the wreck in the previous investigation. It is welcome to do so now. The most important thing for me has been that we get more knowledge and facts, he says.

This autumn's private diving survey has been carried out with the support of, among others, the Estonian newspaper Postimees, but it has not been completely open about which parts of the wreck that has been examined or what has been found. However, the expedition may release more material in the future, probably in Postimees.
