On Saturday 28 August, two teenage girls sat in a car at Södra Hamn in Luleå. They then saw a heavily alcoholic Swedish girl, Maja, who came walking with a gang, four to five men with a “Middle Eastern appearance”.
According to their testimony, the girl was “completely gone”, took support against the wall and could barely stand on her own two feet when she walked. Two of the men opened the door to a disabled toilet and looked like they wanted to get her in there. After one or two of the immigrants went to the toilet with the girl, the witnesses reacted and became anxious.
Called the police
One of the girls called the police and they left the scene because the situation felt uncomfortable. After being away for a while, the police called and wanted them to return to the port.
While they were waiting for the police, three of the men remained at the scene, around the toilets, and looked to be on guard. The police patrol was pointed in the right direction, went to the toilet door and knocked.
Arrested
Mojtaba was arrested on suspicion of attempted rape. In connection with the arrest, he pretended to be under the influence of alcohol and unconscious. Later in the night, he was handed over on suspicion of rape and arrested at 03:16.

During interrogation, Mojtaba claimed that the girl wanted to have sex with him, while he did not want to, because he had no feelings for her.
DNA evidence
Analysis from the National Forensic Center shows that the DNA found, from Mojtaba's penis, matches the girl's. When Mojtaba was asked about it, he said that it could be true, but claimed he could not remember how it could have happened that it ended up there.
On September 24, 2021, the lawsuit was submitted to Luleå District Court.
“Mojtaba has committed intercourse and/or another sexual act which, in view of the seriousness of the violation, is comparable to intercourse by forcing the plaintiff to perform oral sex on him. The plaintiffs did not participate voluntarily. in a particularly vulnerable situation “, the district court writes.
Dual citizenship
Information from the Swedish Migration Board, which Fria Tider has read, shows that Mojtaba applied for residence permit in January 2014 and a permanent residence permit was granted in October of the same year.
In September 2018, Mojtaba received Swedish citizenship. Public documents show that Mojtaba is still a citizen of Afghanistan.
