Yesterday, at the Lingotto in Turin, Fiat inaugurated Casa 500 and La Pista 500. At the same time, announced the debut of the (500) RED range. These are special versions resulting from the collaboration with (RED), a non-profit founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006 which deals with raising funds thanks to collaborations with various companies that are donated to the Global Fund for the fight against Aids, tuberculosis and malaria. To date, (RED) has raised just under $ 700 million for the Global Fund, helping more; of 220 million people. Within this range is the new electric 500 is also present.
All (RED) products can be recognized as, in addition to the brand, they adopt the red color. And the (500) RED electric is characterized precisely by having this body color (available, however, also other colors). The car, specifically, is offered in two bodies, sedan and convertible with black hood and both with the 70 kW engine with a range of 195 km and with the 87 kW engine with distances up to 320 km. The interiors are also new. The driver's seat is; red, while the others are black. If you don't like this choice, all black seats with red lettering and logos are still available and vice versa. Red is also found on some details of the alloy wheels and on the dashboard.
To emphasize sustainability, the seats are made using Seaqual yarn derived from plastic recovered from the oceans. In addition, we also find an air filter treated with a highly effective biocide substance (> 99.9%) against viruses and bacteria, able to prevent their re-aerosolization inside the passenger compartment. Finally, the surfaces of some elements of the interior, with which customers have more contact such as the steering wheel, the seats and the interior of the trunk have received an antimicrobial treatment against viruses and bacteria.
Buyers will be entitled to a Welcome Kit which includes a disinfectant gel dispenser, the dedicated key cover and an exclusive letter signed by Olivier Francois and Bono Vox with a welcome to the (RED) community. Prices for the sedan start at 28,800 euros and 31,800 euros for the convertible.
RANGE (RED) 
The partnership with (RED) goes beyond just Fiat. In fact, the Stellantis Group has extended the collaboration also to Jeep and RAM. In addition to the special versions (RED) for the electric Fiat 500, Fiat 500, Fiat 500L and Fiat 500X models, there will be; an edition (Jeep) RED Compass 2022 which will be introduced in the United States in the first quarter of 2022, followed shortly after by the (Jeep) RED Renegade in the United States and Canada. This latest one will arrive in Europe in the second half & agrave; next year.
The RAM 1500 Limited (RAM) RED 2022 pickup, based on the RAM 1500 Limited Night model, will be & agrave; launched at the end of 2021.
