Domestic. The Social Affairs Committee wants the Riksdag to say yes to the Government's proposal that the Corona Act and the Act on Temporary Infection Control Measures in Restaurants shall continue to apply until the end of January 2022.

The Corona Act and the Act on Temporary Infection Control Measures at Catering Sites give the government, authorities and municipalities the opportunity to take measures to reduce the spread of the corona virus in environments where people gather and where congestion or other close contacts can occur.
The laws are limited in time, it is claimed, and currently apply until the last day of September 2021.
The government proposes that the law on temporary infection control measures at restaurants and the law on special restrictions to prevent the spread of the disease covid-19, will continue to apply until the end of January 2022.
The Social Affairs Committee proposes that the Riksdag say yes to the Government's proposal, which means that the Riksdag will in all probability approve an extension of the law.
