Enel X continues with its project to push the diffusion of mobility; electrical announcing a new collaboration with Leroy Merlin , a well-known company in the large-scale distribution that deals with the sale of products for DIY and do-it-yourself, construction, gardening, decoration and bathroom furniture. The agreement between the two companies plans to electrify at least 10 other Leroy Merlin stores in Italy. Currently, in fact, they are already; 10 those that have Enel X columns for a total of about 20 charging infrastructures.
FAST CHARGING POINTS
The interesting aspect of the agreement is; which will be installed in the additional 10 Leroy Merlin storesfast and ultrafast columns that will allow you to make much more; rapid supply of energy. Specifically, the infrastructures that Enel X will go to; the JuicePump, fast 50 kW stations and the JuicePump Ultra, ultrafast stations with a power up to 300 kW will be installed. Of the new points of sale affected by the agreement, at least two will have ultrafast charging points.
The agreement also provides for the possibility; to implement future collaborations and the installation of new charging technologies such as JuiceMedia which integrates the charging of electric vehicles with the passage of multimedia messages. The installation of the new charging infrastructures will be completed by 2022. The points of sale where the columns will be located have not been communicated.
All stations will be interoperable . This means that the owners of an electric vehicle will be able to recharge using an operator other than Enel X. Augusto Raggi , Head of Enel X Italia, commented on this new agreement:
