Download watchOS 8: Share your experiences here

After a summer of testing, you can finally install watchOS 8 tonight. The update will be ready for you around 19:00. Join the conversation and share your experiences with other iCulture readers!

Note: macOS Monterey isn't coming today!

Don't see the update yet ? There's no point in reporting that you haven't seen the update yet. Apple will release the update at around 7:00 PM, but it often happens that it's a few minutes later. That's no reason to panic; Apple has not forgotten you, but the rollout to millions of devices is simply a gigantic operation. It's often better to wait.

Take Our Poll

watchOS 8 is the smallest ‘big’ update in years, but the many improvements in watchOS 7 are hard to match. All owners of an Apple Watch Series 3 or newer can download the update. So no devices were dropped this year.

This is the best place to share your experiences: tell others if the download and installation were successful and if you encountered any problems. Or maybe you're more cautious and prefer to see what others have to say to determine if you're brave enough to take the plunge.

Note: Keep the comments on-topic, concrete and transparent for others. Personal status updates of whether your download has started/success does not add anything to the discussion. It may also take a little longer before the update is visible. You don't have to report this either. These comments will be deleted.
