On our own behalf: ComputerBase Pro can now be paid for via Paydirekt

ComputerBase Pro can no longer only be paid for by PayPal or bank transfer, but also by Paydirekt. Paydirekt is the online payment method used by German banks and savings banks. For their customers it combines the advantages of the other two payment methods: immediate activation of the Pro-Status & apos; and data protection.

The idea to support Paydirekt goes back to a suggestion from the ComputerBase forum. Paydirekt works like PayPal, in particular the pro status is activated immediately after payment, but has advantages in terms of data protection because Paydirekt GmbH is a German company and belongs to the German banks and savings banks.

Since ComputerBase Pro is a purely digital offer and we do not send any goods, we do not have to collect, save or pass on the customer's address even when paying via Paydirekt. As a customer, you only have to give your address to Paydirekt if you register there. What we have to hand over to Paydirekt is the email address stored in the ComputerBase account.

In the future, Paydirekt will be renamed Giropay, which is why the new name will be used during a payment with Paydirekt already shows up in a few places. On ComputerBase itself we have decided to call the payment method Paydirekt until further notice.

We think that we have added Paydirekt to the payment methods offered by ComputerBase Pro. Payment via PayPal and bank transfer will of course still be possible.

With ComputerBase Pro you can support our work and surf on ComputerBase without advertising. In addition, there are exclusive features for pro users, such as a full-text feed and the possibility of actually reading multi-page articles on just one page. ComputerBase Pro can be ordered for a month, a year or two years. There is no automatic renewal at the end of the term.
