Domestic. A new tax benefit is now being introduced for those who own things that can be rented out. Personal assets such as cars, caravans and boats can be rented for SEK 20,000 per year – tax-free.

The proposal for tax-free letting of personal assets means that remuneration for the letting of personal belongings shall be taken up for taxation only to the extent that the total remuneration exceeds SEK 20,000 per year.
a similar benefit has existed for a few years for those who own properties and condominiums. They only need to pay tax on rental income that is higher than SEK 40,000 per year.
