We hardly watch traditional TV anymore. Streaming video services like Apple TV+ (try for free), Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video are more important than ever. But local providers such as Videoland, Film1 and Ziggo also have plenty to offer. More series are added every week and it is nice if you know which series, films and documentaries really stand out. We have therefore made a selection.

New on Apple TV+: The Morning Show (S02)

The Morning Show is back! The critically acclaimed TV-station series kicks off with the first episode of season two, “My Least Favorite Year”. In a special video (see below) you dive behind the scenes. Season 1 ended with a series of explosive events caused by lead actresses Alex (Jennifer Aniston) and Bradley (Reese Witherspoon).

Again, it's all about how we present ourselves to the outside world and who we really are. Famous names return, such as Steve Carell, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, Janina Gavankar, Tom Irwin and Marcia Gay Harden. But there are also new faces, such as Stella Bak (Greta Lee), a tech whiz kid who joins UBA's management. We also see Ty Fitzgerald (Ruairi O'Connor), a smart and charismatic YouTube star, and Eric Nomani (Hasan Minhaj), a new member of the Morning Show team. In addition, Emmy Award winner Holland Taylor, Tara Karsian, Valeria Golino and Julianna Margulies. No shortage of stars. Apple also released a trailer for Season 2.

The first episode of Season 2 is now on air and a new episode will follow every Friday after that.
