Domestic. Denmark withdraws citizenship for 29-year-old Adam Touhou, who is convicted of recruiting IS fighters.

The verdict is the first since the European Court of Justice gave Denmark the green light to revoke citizenship for those who can be linked to extremist organizations.
According to Berlingske, the convicted 29-year-old was charged, among other things, with has written “I think you should give Syria a second chance” and states that there was “food, weapons and brotherhood” in Syria.
For the messages, the man is now sentenced to six years in prison and life imprisonment. He also loses his Danish citizenship.
