The new general guidelines mean that adults who have not yet been vaccinated should continue to distance themselves from other people whenever possible.

This is especially important in contact with people. in the risk group and people who are 70 years and older, according to FHM.

– There will be a clear restriction for unvaccinated people because they are at greater risk of being infected with covid-19 and of infecting others. They can infect both the unvaccinated and the vaccinated because no vaccine provides one hundred percent protection, says Johan Carlson, director general of FHM, in a statement.

Everyone should also be aware of the symptoms of covid-19, according to the new advice. If you suspect you have covid-19, you should stay home and avoid contact with other people.

The Swedish Public Health Agency continues to recommend testing for symptoms.

Regulations and general advice aimed at activities in connection with covid-19 will cease in their entirety from 29 September. This is because these are no longer judged to be justified from an infection control and public health perspective.
