The long autonomy of the Lucid Air is not; only pi & ugrave; a promise as the car manufacturer announced the outcome of the official tests carried out by the Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA ) which, as known, are very reliable and accurate. The results obtained are truly impressive and go to reward the great work that the American car manufacturer has done on this car whose deliveries are expected to start by the end of the year, slightly delayed compared to the original plans. Not that there were many doubts given that several unofficial mileage tests such as the one carried out with Motor Trend, had made it possible to ascertain the long autonomy offered by this car.
The Lucid Air has all the credentials for become a reference electric and an alternative to the Tesla Model S . But let's see the test results.
AUTONOMY RECORD
Both Air Dream Edition models have 113 kWh battery. Passing to the Grand Touring , on the other hand, the distance recorded by the EPA is; 516 miles (830 km) and 469 miles (754 km). Below is the table shared by Lucid Motors with details.

The mileage drops to 481 miles (774 km) if 21-inch wheels are fitted. As for the Performance version of the Dream Edition, EPA has certified 471 miles (758 km) and 451 miles (725 km). </p>
