iPhone 13 pre-order tips
The tips below ensure that nothing can go wrong with the pre-order. order of the iPhone 13.
#1 Mark your device as a favorite
Because all devices come out at the same time, this year there is more choice than ever. Therefore, quickly mark your favorite iPhone 13, so that ordering in advance goes as smoothly as possible. Do this before the Apple Store goes offline, preferably before Friday 17 September. After that it doesn't work anymore.
Mark the products you have chosen as favorites, including any accessories you want to order. When it's 2:00 PM on Friday afternoon and the Apple Store opens, you won't have to search long. You browse for the favourites, add them to your shopping cart and pay. This way you don't waste time with unnecessary browsing for the right product and you don't get distracted by all kinds of other lures. Moreover, you can now take your time and decide what you want. This way you avoid mistakes.
#2 Pre-order your iPhone first, then the rest
You can of course order an iPhone 13 case, cables and all kinds of other accessories, but that takes time. If you're smart, you buy in two parts: reserve the iPhone first, so you'll be done with it quickly. After that, you can always think about cables and covers. They are always in stock. In fact, you can already order covers and other accessories before the pre-order starts.
#3 Choose the fastest webshop or provider
The preorder of the iPhone 13 is, just like in previous years, on Friday afternoon at 2:00 PM. That's a perfect time: you don't have to get out of bed early and have plenty of time to sit down after lunch. Of course you can not only go to the Apple Store, but also to various providers and web shops. So look beyond just Apple and choose a provider or store that has your model in stock. You could also place an order at two stores, but your credit card or bank account must offer enough leeway for this.
#4 Choose a quiet place for the iPhone pre-order
On Friday afternoon you will have done the most important work of the week, so switch off your phone, set your MacBook to Do Not Disturb and go there sit quietly. You still have a quiet moment before the Friday afternoon drink goes wild. An ideal time to focus on the iPhone 13 pre-order. Find a quiet space and make sure you don't have any nagging from roommates or colleagues.
#5 Do not pay with iDEAL
Payments via iDEAL can sometimes take a little more time. As a result, you are insecure for a longer period of time whether the order has gone through properly. Choose to pay by credit card if you have the option.
#6 Be ready well before 14:00
Don't wait until 13:59 to get the pre order to start. It is useful to open the website of your provider fifteen minutes in advance and prepare things in advance, such as your credit card and information about your current subscription.
Some providers start ‘accidentally’ sometimes a little earlier, while the Apple Store is usually a little later. It would be a shame to suddenly find out that the pre-orders have been going on for a while, which means that the delivery time has already increased.
Another good tip for the Apple Store: use the Apple Store app , because it often goes back online before the website.
#7 Check your current contract with your provider
If you want an iPhone 13 with a subscription, it is wise to check in advance how long your current contract is still running and whether it is time to renew. Or maybe you want to switch to another provider? In that case, you could already view the subscriptions and data bundles, so that you know what your options are.
All providers and web stores will include the iPhone 13 in their range, in all models. However, they often provide little information about stocks, because they themselves do not know how many devices they will receive and when. They depend on Apple for this.

Why pre-order?
Apple always announces the new iPhones during an event. A few days later the pre-order starts and then the devices are delivered.
In the past, people would queue up at the Apple Store days in advance to make sure they were the first to get their hands on the device. Because this grew into an advertising caravan for all kinds of repair and rental companies, Apple stopped it. For us as users, it's nice that Apple has switched to pre-orders. Everyone has equal opportunities and it does not cost you a night's sleep. Those who are fast will receive early deliveries and those who cannot leave the house due to work or other obligations simply have the device delivered to their home. You can still pick up in the store.
You no longer have to get an iPhone in Germany or France to get the device quickly, because the Netherlands and Belgium. are currently in the first group of countries.
